Should the mop be disinfected after it is used up?

The mop that is used repeatedly is most suitable for the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms because it is in a humid environment for a long time. There are mainly the following categories:

1. Microorganisms such as mold fungus Candida. These microorganisms can multiply rapidly in warm and humid environments. Some of them can cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, etc., and in severe cases can cause respiratory and intestinal diseases.

2. Dust mites. Dust mites are one of the causes of allergic diseases. If you use such a mop to mop the floor, these bacteria and microorganisms will move around with the mop and spread the bacteria everywhere.

If the skin of the body comes into contact with these bacteria, it is easy to cause allergic dermatitis such as eczema. In order to mop the floor clean, some housewives wring the mop dry with their hands. They do not know that this happens to be infected with bacteria, and people with allergic constitutions are prone to skin diseases.

How to disinfect the mop?

It is best to disinfect household mops regularly. The best way to disinfect, if the house is relatively ventilated and the climate is relatively dry, just wash the used mop with clean water, and then expose it to the sun for a period of time to keep it dry. Secondly, use ordinary disinfectant water for disinfection, such as: Lyso water, potassium permanganate solution and bleaching powder. Use 1%~5% Lyso water solution to soak and disinfect for about 30 minutes. Secondly, use 5%~10% bleaching powder clarified solution for 30 to 60 minutes to achieve the disinfection effect. In addition, when mopping the floor, you can use low-concentration potassium permanganate and bleach to sprinkle on the floor, which can eliminate most of the bacteria. Household disinfection must not be too much, because some people are afraid that the disinfection effect is not good, so they deliberately increase the amount of disinfection water, so that the smell is not easy to disperse at home, causing another kind of pollution.
